Lately I’ve been having fun with dots. If you haven’t already figured out by other photos, I love tons of color. My house is filled with color. (Hopefully in an attractive way!) Whenever I make a larger piece I will often have tiny pieces of colored glass left over. So recently I started making dots with them. Glass wants to always be 1/4″ thick. So when you heat it, if it’s a single layer it tends to pull up into a circle. Each one of these colored dots started out as a square believe it or not. I fire the squares first on their own to make the dots, then add them to the white background glass and fire again to fuse them together. Life is meant to be lived in color!
